SERVICES FOR THE CHILDREN
The Marsh Children's Home in Acapulco provides many Services to the Children. We provide them with shelter, food, medical and dental care (we have eight Children getting orthoAdontics), clothes, shoes, school supplies and uniforms, special educational needs, teachers to supervise their studies, a Computer Center, computer classes, sewing classes, etc. We also take the Children on educational and recreational Events and outings to zoos, animal parks, museums, water parks, boat trips, and the Mexican Navy's incredible, three-masted schooner and training ship - The "Cuauhtémoc."
SERVICES FOR OUR GRADUATES
The Marsh Home has an active job placement program that assists our current and upcoming graduates in finding good employment in the Acapulco Area. If you are a local business owner and have available positions for our graduates, please contact Jovita Godiñez: (744) 444-5505.
SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL DONORS & VOLUNTEERS
The Marsh Home will pick you up at the Acapulco airport if you notify us in advance. We will take you to the Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. (about a five minute ride from the airport) for a short Visit and then gladly take you to your hotel. If you want to relax after your flight, no problem. We will take you directly to your hotel and schedule a time for you to Visit the Marsh Home that is most convenient for you.
SERVICES FOR PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS
We have three guest rooms for Professional Volunteers available at a nominal charge to cover our expenses. Our special guest rooms have been recently refurbished, complete with a huge balcony and cool Pacific breezes, as the Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. is located directly on the beach! COMMUNITY SERVICES
Taking complete care of 80+ needy Children has made the Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. a recognized leader in child development, child welfare, and rehabilitation. We are so good at it that Acapulco's Municipal Government's Family Planning Dept. (known as DIF) brings their staff to the Marsh Home so that we may show them how WE do it. The Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. is a model Home by any standards. The Marsh Home not only sets the example for excellence in child care, we raise the bar!
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. occasionally has garage sales in the local village with surplus items. These are sold to the local community members at about 10 cents on the dollar value. It helps these poor people and provides additional income for Marsh Home. We also distribute our excess Donations of food to the local poor. As an example, years ago, Costco Donated all their day-old bread to us. We would pick up the bags of bread at 8 am daily, filling the back with our pickup truck. We would then take them to the Marsh Children’s Home Acapulco, Inc. to be separated. We would save what we needed to feed the children that day, and the excess would be given away.
We also sometimes provide food, clothing, and school supplies to several children from impoverished families in the neighborhood. When the need arises, we loan our school bus to the local school and to local church groups for their special events and outings. We are good neighbors to the people and the community of Bonfil.

Children's Home Acapulco Inc., a U.S. non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation based in Arizona, will happily provide you with a Tax-Deductible Receipt (upon request) for the amount of any Financial Donation it receives for use when claiming charitable deductions with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Donations are deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law.
Hogar Infantil Marsh, A.C. is likewise recognized within the Mexican Republic by the Mexican counterpart for the IRS, Secretaría de Hacienda y Credito Público, as a charitable, non-profit organization. Accordingly, Hogar Infantil Marsh is authorized to issue a receipt for tax-deduction purposes within Mexico.
